Please make the check out to Back to the Start. 

(Or, alternatively, the check can be make out to our fiscal sponsor, Empowerment Works, Inc. Either way, the monies will come to Back to the Start as we have a DBA which allows us to receive funds under both organizational names).

3. Donate using your Donor Advised Funds (DAF).

 

​​In the charity search feature for DAFs, donations will be made through our fiscal sponsor, Empowerment Works, Inc. To ensure the correct charity is selected, please make sure the EIN listed is 31-1796801.

Write in the notes that the donation is for Back to the Start

*It is also very helpful, especially for first time donations, to let us know at info@backtothestart.org that the donation has  been submitted in order to for us to be able to track the contribution and ensure receipt. In addition, you or the program officer overseeing your DAF can reach out to us anytime to obtain further contact information or banking information for routing of funds.
